Weekly and Monthly Classes

Weekly classes are currently taking place for the Short Form, Long Form, Ta Lu and The Dance. In addition there are monthly sword and sabre classes.

Students with some experience of T'ai Chi wishing to join the current classes should .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 07944 880072 to discuss which class would be most appropriate for them.

On the first Tuesday of every month there will be a sabre class from 6.30 - 7.45 before the regular class. Students not wanting to study the sabre are welcome to come along as usual on these days and do partnerwork until the main class begins.

Entrance to the left of Barclays Bank on Woodburne Road. Ring the buzzer marked Capoeira for entry. The venue is on the Second floor.

Sabre Class

Monthly, Tuesdays 6.30 - 7.45pm

A monthly taught session for all levels including beginners, with time for questions for more experienced students.

This will be before the regular Tuesday class at the Holy Trinity Church on Trinity Road and students who are not studying Sabre are encouraged to arrive as usual and stick, push hands, and do partnerwork until the warm up set at 7.45pm. There is a flat fee of £5 for the Sabre class, separate from normal termly fees, and it is possible to just come along to the Sabre session if you cannot stay for the rest of the class.

Sword Class

A taught session for all levels including beginners, with time for questions for more experienced students, will take place each first Thursday of the month at 6.30pm promptly for 1 1/4 hours. This will be before our regular class and other students who are not studying Sword are encouraged to arrive as usual and stick, push hands, and do partnerwork until the warm up set at 7.45pm.
There is a flat fee of £5 for the Sword class, separate from normal termly fees, and it is possible to just come along to the Sword session if you cannot stay for the rest of the class.
